We would like to start by saying that we have great respect for you and the unselfish love you have for your child as you consider an adoption plan. Thank you for allowing us to share our story with you. We hope it helps you with your decision as you get to know us as a loving and caring family.

Our Home

Our home is warm, inviting, and decorated with family pictures and mementos. Our large fenced-in back yard is famous for family barbeques and a large vegetable garden. We picture where we are going to put a swing set and play house for our child. The room we have picked out for our child is bright and cheerful with the morning sun. There is a big maple tree outside the window that is home to many beautiful songbirds.

Our Community

We live in the suburbs of upstate New York. There are a lot of children of all ages living in our community. It is a family neighborhood that participates in many activities. At Halloween, we have hundreds of children trick-or-treating and the local fire department drives up and down the streets tossing candy to the kids and their families. We live within walking distance of a park, a library, and ball field. We are very proud of our school system and university setting. Our community medical centers are respected throughout the country.

About Us

We have been happily married for several years. We were introduced by mutual friends and knew from the first moment that we spoke that we had a special connection that would last a lifetime. Our love for one another grows stronger every year. As best friends, we can talk freely about anything. We share a life rich with laughter and love surrounded by caring, supportive extended family and friends. We love to cook and our house is always filled with the aromas of good food. We enjoy gardening and our vegetables are famous among our families.

Riding bikes on our favorite scenic trail

When we are not enjoying the great outdoors, we like to go to the theater and museums. Sometimes we like to sit at home and watch movies on a Friday night with a big bowl of popcorn. We look forward to sharing all these things with our child.

We look forward every spring to taking our camper out to state parks where we enjoy going hiking, fishing, and bicycling.

Tony

Tony represents all the fine qualities that one looks for when we use the word “father.”

Tony is very warm, loving, and caring. He is a family man who enjoys doing things together as a family. Children gravitate towards him because of his calming and soothing manner. When we are babysitting for our nieces, he enjoys helping them with their homework.

Family

We both come from very large extended families. Our families are very important to us and we enjoy spending time with them. Between us, we have five brothers and sisters and five nieces. We have way too many cousins to mention! Our parents can’t wait to be grandparents to our child. We are both happy to have our families live very close by. Several of our friends are adopted and two members of our extended family are adopted. Our families and friends are very supportive and excited about us becoming parents.
