Parents / Together

We have been together since 1997 in a strong and stable relationship. Our relationship has been based on a mutual respect, love and trust of each other. Over the years,we have learned to understand, to encourage and to work together as friends and partners. Together, we have shared an enjoyment in traveling around the world and in living in several countries from South America to Europe. We have traveled to more than 50 countries exploring their cultures, histories and languages.

Both of us are very active in raising Zachary and share all aspects of beings parents. We try to provide Zachary with a balance of learning, playing and exploring during his day. We participate in play groups, spend time at parks and have taken him for swimming lessons. Zachary has developed into confident little boy with a very curious mind. It’s been a joy to take him around to different countries for family vacation or to visit friends and see him enjoy different foods and hear different languages.

Stephen / Caring

Stephen has his own consulting business in the telecommunications industry. This allowed him to spend the first 18months being at home full time with Zachary and will allow him to do this with a new child as well. Stephen enjoys nurturing and caring for Zachary as he watches him develop into the sweet little boy that he is. Zachary likes to follow Stephen around and to help him try to fix things from changing the batteries of his toys to doing chores around the home. Someday when Zachary is older, Stephen would like to share with him his hobby of working with wood and house projects.

Brent / Familyman

Brent also works as a consultant in the telecommunication industry. In Brent’s free time he enjoys cooking for the family, reading stories to Zachary, and listening to music. Zachary has taken to Brent’s enjoyment of music and is constantly playing with his musical toys all day. Reading books with Zachary is something that is really important to us. When Zachary comes to us with a book, we always stop and take the time to read with him.

Friends / Close

In addition to our families, we have been very fortunate to have many friends who have shared the warmth and love that they have extended to us with Zachary. They are very supportive of our decision to adopt another child as they have seen the joy being parents has given us. Our extended family and friends have very diverse cultural and religious backgrounds that will allow us to provide to a strong sense of identity for a child of any background.

Our Home / Loving

We own a home in a small town in the suburbs of Boston,Massachusetts. It’s a great safe town with a good school system, many parks and bike paths. The town celebrates diversity and has many cultural programs in the town and schools. The quality of the education system is very important to us, as we believe that a good education is very important in child development.

Our home has lots of room to raise children. It has a small backyard with a garden. Our home is located near several parks, a community center and local shop that are all within short walks. We enjoy taking our walks around town and to the parks nearby. We look forward to expanding our family and for Zachary to have a sibling.
