Hi!

Thank you for taking a moment to learn more about us. We appreciate the difficult nature of this decision and hope that, should you choose adoption, you will consider us as adoptive parents for your child. We are so excited to become parents and want nothing more than to provide a warm, fun and loving home for a child.

About Us

We met while working at a hip restaurant in the city. Our friendship formed over live music, good food, and a strong connection to our families. Our solid 5 year friendship was a beautiful foundation for our marriage in 2004.

We enjoy spending time with each other and, from the beginning, have established a relationship based on communication, love and mutual respect. Together, we will work to create a safe, loving and stimulating environment where a child can explore, learn, have fun and develop into the exceptional person he or she is destined to become. Our lives and the decisions we have made up to this point have been leading to just this.

Naomi by Neil

When I first met Naomi, I was drawn to her adventurous and creative spirit. ~ Neil

I have witnessed Naomi's incredibly strong devotion to her family as a daughter, a wife, and an aunt. I know she can't wait for the challenge of motherhood; new games to invent, new crafts to create, new people to meet! And a new little person to make her homemade corduroy teddy bear, a 4th generation family tradition.

Naomi attracts such a diverse group of people around her and is always organizing them together to solve problems, have fun and accomplish great things. From early on in our relationship, I knew she would be a great mother. She is so very nurturing, caring and has a strong sense of responsibility. She is always helping others & leading the way so they can help themselves, too.

Neil by Naomi

Neil is patient, kind, caring and adores kids of all ages. ~ Naomi

During Neil's years as a live-in nanny for his niece & nephew, he developed a natural ease in dealing with boo-boo's, fussy eaters, and bedtime. He's also a master of spontaneous games - the sillier the better!

Neil loves cooking, both as a profession and for fun, and regularly invites friends and family to our house for delicious meals. He loves showing others how to cook, and often visits his niece & nephew's school to teach chocolate tasting, sushi rolling, cupcake decorating and other fun, hands-on kids cooking classes.

Neil loves being outdoors and is filled with energy. He often bicycles 40+ miles a week! He wears his big-kid heart on his sleeve and is always ready to help a friend in need.

Our Home & Our Neighborhood

Our six-bedroom Victorian home is in a beautiful neighborhood of Philadelphia - close to both of our families. We chose this community because we love the open spaces and many trees. We also cherish the neighborhood's cultural diversity and vast opportunities including many options for schools, nationally recognized hospitals, and a wide variety of athletic & artistic programs.

Our home is on a block filled with families of all shapes, sizes & ethnicities. This has reinforced our appreciation of different cultures. We proudly enjoy many traditions including Neil's Jewish heritage, Naomi's Christian traditions, and family celebrations such as Octoberfest with her German grandfather, plus various cultural and ethnic food festivals year-round.

In addition to nurturing a wonderful support network of friends, family and neighbors all close by, we also have many parks and playgrounds a few blocks in every direction of our home. Plus many amazing schools, museums, zoos, sports centers, and cultural activities are all a short bike or car ride away for adventures big and small.

We would just love a child to share this adventure with us!

Our Hope

We want nothing more than to add a new chapter to our tale by bringing a baby into our lives. Our whole family looks forward to opening their hearts and homes to this wonderful experience.

We know life challenges us all with difficult decisions and we admire your strength, love and ability to consider what is best for you and your baby. Our greatest hope is that your decision, whatever it may be, brings you a sense of peace both now and in the future.

Thank you for reading our story.

We would love to answer any questions you may have about us and would love to know more about you and what is most important to you as you consider an adoption plan for your baby.
