Hi!!

We're Diana, Lou and Matthew. Thank you for taking the time to look at our profile. Most importantly, thank you for considering us for such a critical role in your life. While we can't understand what you're going through, we do hope that you find peace and comfort through this difficult time. Maybe just like you, we're looking for someone to answer our prayers. We have always dreamed of having a big family and by reading this, you're considering being the one to make our dreams come true. For that consideration alone, we thank you so much.

We have so much history and so many wonderful memories that we hope to share with you as we get to know you. We hope this profile will give you a sense of who we are as a family and how much we look forward to welcoming a new baby into our home.

Lou and Diana as a Couple

We met as teenagers and dated straight through graduate school, even when we were miles apart. We've been married for ten years now, for a total of seventeen years of being together. More than anything, we like to travel and dream of spending our summers traveling with our children to show them the world. We love history and different cultures and can't wait to show our children the many beautiful places this world has to offer.

We really enjoy spending time together doing everything from playing air hockey or bowling to going for picnics after church. During the weekends you can find us riding our bikes, planting our garden or swimming. We also like to spend the day at the beach or at a baseball game. In the winter we spend quiet evenings at home watching a movie or taking walks in the snow. When we're in the mood for something different, we go to the city for a show, a concert or an exhibit at a museum.

What Lou has to say about Diana.

Diana is a strong, big-hearted woman who goes out of her way to help others. She's always quick to remind me of how lucky we are. She's able to focus on the bright side of any situation and her can-do attitude inspires those around her. She also has a terrific sense of humor. Diana gets into all kinds of music, from jazz to rock to classical to pop music. She's often heard singing while cooking dinner.

Diana has filled our home with lots of traditions she hopes to pass along to our children. The old-fashioned side to her likes to dress up for Easter and delights in going to a formal tea time. She turns into a little kid around Christmas time, decorating the house, cooking a holiday dinner for our families and buying gifts for everyone. She really is the type of person who likes to give the gifts more than she does receiving them. As a mother Diana is a protective, nurturing and loving mom. She's taught our son Spanish and does everything she can to engage him in different activities. She loves to take him for play- dates and different "mommy and me" classes. But above all I think her favorite thing to do is cuddle while reading books to him and giving him kisses. When it comes down to it Diana has a strong nature that is softened by her loving and gentle heart. Over the years, she has really turned our house into a home and she can't wait to share her life and dreams with a household full of children.

What Diana has to say about Lou.

Lou's a quick-witted, funny guy with a sensitive and sentimental side to him. Lou makes me laugh more than anyone I know. He's always the one with a quick observation or comment to make everyone laugh. Lou has a relaxed, easy going personality, but he takes his responsibilities very seriously and is extremely reliable. He takes pride in his work and when he gives is word to someone he makes sure his promise is kept. Lou's also a curious person who enjoys traveling because he loves to see and experience new things. Lou's also amazingly creative. He can fix virtually anything and takes pride in renovating our house. While Lou's just like most guys who like to barbecue and watch baseball, he also has a very cultured side to him that appreciates art and architecture.

Watching Lou as a Dad makes my heart melt. I get to see a side of him that is incredibly sensitive and sentimental. He saves every memento under the sun for our scrapbook and gets teary eyed when we're looking through old boxes of baby clothes. He takes pride in his family's traditions (like making tomato sauce with his family every year) and looks forward to passing these traditions down to our children. He even delights in playing our family's resident Santa Claus. Lou is able to get joy from the simple things in life. Simply the pride of taking his child to church or the joy of being woken up by a child jumping on the bed is enough to make his day. Lou's an ideal husband and father. His relaxed manner makes him easy to be around, his sensitive side makes him easy to talk to and his quick sense of humor makes him fun to hangout with. He's a gentle and loving father who dreams of having a household filled with the love and warmth of a big family.

A Bit About Matthew

Matthew is an affectionate fun loving little boy. He's shy with strangers, but once he gets to know you, he loves to put his arms around you and ask for kisses. He loves running outside, feeding the birds and playing with his toy cars and trucks. When we talk to him about bringing home a baby for him to teach things to and play with, he gives us a big grin. He's going to make a great older brother!

Extended Family

When we speak of our family, we mean a lot more that just the three of us. Lou has three sisters and Diana has one brother. Both sets of our parents and all of our siblings live within 15 minutes of us and Diana's grandmother lives 45 minutes away. Since our families live so close by, we see everyone regularly a get to spend every holiday with family. Our large, warm and loving family is very supportive and can't wait to welcome a new member with open arms.

Our Home

We bought our home and renovated it to make it the ideal place to raise a family. It has a big family kitchen which opens up to a beautiful deck surrounding a fenced in pool that's perfect for kids.

A Final Word of Thanks

We hope our profile conveyed to you how much love we have for each other and how much love we have to give to children. Our family is built on a true love that continues to grow and we look forward to sharing that love with another child. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. It would be an honor and a blessing for us to be granted the chance to give your baby a life filled with unconditional love and security. Whatever your decision, please know that our prayers are with you.
