Hi!

We are Mindi and Jordan and we are grateful for this opportunity to introduce ourselves to you. It must take a tremendous amount of love and courage to consider an adoption plan for your child. We are excited to share some of our family experiences, upbringing and values instilled by our parents. We can't wait to provide a child of our own with many of the same experiences so he or she can grow up happy, healthy, confident, and most importantly, knowing they are loved.

Who We Are

Jordan and I met just over 10 years ago and there hasn't been a day since our first date when we haven't seen or spoken to each other. We have been married for 7 years and are truly best friends. Our relationship is built on mutual trust, respect for each other and open communication.

Jordan is the Regional Sales Manager for a group of radio stations and Mindi is a school psychologist. Though we both work very hard at our jobs, we also enjoy life to the fullest and can't wait to share it with a child. Whether it's go-kart racing, motorcycle rides, horseback riding, skiing, boating, taking walks and hiking with our dog Cash or just hanging out with our friends, we always have something exciting to do together.

Our Home

We live in a suburban town yet our spacious three bedroom home is nestled on a large lot, quietly tucked away off the main road. We have a fenced in backyard and oversized front lawn. We can't wait for the day when we are playing catch or chase with our children! Our home is walking distance to an elementary and high school in one of the best school districts in our region. They are equipped with brand new playgrounds and state of the art sporting venues. A short drive in any direction can take us to museums, arenas, theme parks, arts & entertainment, nature preserves, lakes and mountains; all of which we can't wait to share with our child.

Jordan and I met by chance and had an instant connection. We spent all night talking and the rest, they say, is history! From the very beginning, Jordan included me in all of his special interests, hobbies and passions; among those are competitive go-kart racing, motorcycling and skiing. While Jordan is often the jokester in the family and frequently the center of attention with our friends, he also has a higly developed sense of responsibilty to his work, family and friends. Jordan is a devoted husband, thoughtful son and outstanding friend. Another great feature of Jordan is his constant positive outlook. He can find the silver lining in any situation. I look forward to the day he can pass these traits on to a child of his own. These are only some of the reasons why I love him so much and can't wait to raise a family with him.

Mindi is my best friend. I love sharing my accomplishments and successes with her and hearing about hers. Mindi enhances our lives by being so incredibly compassionate and never one to say no, rather always offering a helping hand and Mindi's love of animals rivals the most amazing love stories you can imagine. Add all her amazing qualities to her PHD in Psychology and I can easily say I have an incredibly intelligent, caring and understanding soul mate.

Family

Jordan is the older of two boys. His parents are both retired and share their time living between Florida and Long Island. They are exceptional people, extraordinarily generous and anxiously awaiting to dote on a grandchild. Jordan's brother Jeff lives near their parents on Long Island and is excited to be an uncle for the first time. Family gatherings are planned frequently throughout the year with his large extended family. Picnics, barbeques, ski trips, concerts, etc.. are all things the cousins enjoy doing together. They are all excited about a new addition to the family!

Mindi has a twin brother and they are the youngest of four children. Her parents retired to Florida where they care for their 91 year-old Grandmother. Her mom and dad taught their children to hold family very dear. They live near Mindi's twin brother, older sister and their families. She also has an older brother who lives in NYC with his wife and daughter and many cousins with children of their own living on Long Island. Despite the distances, Mindi remains very close to her siblings, parents, and grandparent and adores her many nieces and nephews. They are all happily awaiting a new additions to the family. We enjoy holiday vacations with Mindi's family thorughout the year. Mindi loves to entertain them all and spoils them rotten when they come to visit during summer vacation, dogs included!

Cash

Our core family consists of Jordan, Mindi and our 5 year-old dog, Cash. We rescued Cash when he was a puppy and committed to providing him with a loving, nurturing home and daily doses of play and enrichment like mountain hiking, agility, and obedience training. Our goal was to raise a sociable, sweet-natured, happy and confident dog. He so exceeded our expectations that we decided to share him with others through Therapy Dog work. He loves to interact with people of all ages and sizes and is especially gentle and affectionate with children, the elderly, and the ill.

Through our many interests, we are blessed to have developed an extensive array of friends, some of which we are lucky enough to consider our chosen family. Two of our very closests friends are currently going through the adoption process as well. We are excited about sharing our journey with them and supporitng each other. All of our friends are excited about us becoming parents and can't wait for us to have a little boy or girl to play with their many children.
