Hello...

Our names are Jason and Ann Marie, and we would be honored if you read our profile and considered us to adopt your child. We can only imagine what challenging decisions face you in the near future and we hope that after reading a little bit about us you will have a better understanding of how excited we are for the day we can open our home and our hearts to a baby. We love children and are excited about growing our family through adoption. Thank you and best wishes!

About Us

Our story is unique in the sense that we both grew up only minutes from one another but never truly met until we were both starting our professional careers. In fact, we both attended the same Middle and High school where we were only separated by two grades. Interestingly, not until well after we met, did we realize that we shared similar study halls during Ann Marie's senior year.

After high school our lives once again came very close to crossing paths when we enrolled in the same university. This time, the only thing separating us was the upper and lower levels of the same building in which we attended our college courses. It wasn't until Jason started his internship at King and King that we finally met for the first time. In those first conversations it seems the only word spoken was "Really?" as we learned more and more about one another. From that moment to 8 years later, we still enjoy telling the story of how we met.

Our Home

Jason and I chose to stay in the area that we grew up in because we truly feel that it is very important to be surrounded by family and friends. Nothing is more important to us than being close to the ones we love. In fact, we recently moved into our first home which is only a short distance from both our parents.

We live in a very peaceful suburban setting in central New York, just minutes from the city. Our community is mid-sized with a great school district that offers many opportunities parents wish for a child; academics, music, sports and more. There are many parks and playgrounds within walking distance of our home and the neighborhood is filled with children of all ages.

Our home is warm and welcoming. We're very lucky to have a wonderful yard that is surrounded by trees. We spend much of our time in the yard either playing with our dog Hunter or just relaxing. In fact, Jason is in the process of completing our new deck - friends can't wait for the many cook-outs!

Ann Marie by Jason

I appreciate this opportunity to express my love for Ann Marie and share with you just a few of the reasons why she means so much to so many. Ann Marie is one of the most out-going people that I have ever met. She has a natural ability to make a connection with anyone that she meets and make him or her feel as though they have known her forever. I know that this warm, caring personality is a direct result of her wonderful childhood. Ann Marie comes from a large, loving Italian family, that has no hesitation to invite people into their lives. One just has to come prepared with an appetite and a story to tell.

A Night with friends

Ann Marie is a very talented and creative person who is extremely passionate about the work she creates as an Interior Designer. This creativity carries over into her many hobbies such as; scrap-booking and jewelry-making. Along with these hobbies, Ann Marie also takes pleasure in skiing, running, golfing, walking our dog Hunter, and working out at the gym. When not on the go, she relaxes with her favorite T.V. shows, "American Idol" and "What Not To Wear."

As with all aspects of Ann Marie's life, she is tremendously excited to become a mother. As a little girl, she dreamed of having a family of her own. Each time she holds one of her nephews, cousins, or friend's children I am reminded of how much this means to her. Ann Marie's maternal instincts are very strong and I know she will make a wonderful mom to some lucky child.

I'm pleased to be able to let you know why I think Jason is a wonderful husband and why he will be a great father. When we first started dating, I can remember Jason sharing with me the reasons why he was looking forward to getting married and starting a family. At that moment, I fell in love with him and it became clear to me that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him.

A few things that I really love about Jason are his loyalty to the people in his life and his ability to make me laugh no matter how I'm feeling. He has a great sense of humor and seems to always know the right things to say or do to put a smile on people's faces. He is devoted to his work as an Architect but finds ways to balance his professional career with his family. Jason is always willing to help if someone needs it and to see Jason with my nephews and our friends' kids truly warms my heart. He is so attentive, loving and playful.

Fishing in the Salmon River

Jason likes to stay active and has many interests that he is eager to share with a child. In fact, as a young boy he shared a lot of time with his father and uncles in the outdoors hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting. To this day his family stays very close through these activities. Some of the other activities that Jason enjoys include; running/walking in local races, playing basketball, and golfing.

Friends and Family

As already mentioned, family and friends mean the world to us. Jason and I have had the great fortune to grow up in loving families supported by grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. To this day, we share holidays, special occasions, and even the casual "get-together" with our extended families. We feel these relationships are the corner stone of our relationship with each other and can't wait to share the same experiences with a child.

With regards to our immediate family, Jason has a younger sister Stacy, who is married and is expecting their first child with her husband Guy. They constantly remind us of how exciting it will be to have children at the same time. Ann Marie has an older brother Jerry and two nephews; Anthony, who is 9 and Christopher who will soon be 4. Many of our weekends have been spent watching little league games, hockey practices and other sporting events! Our parents…what can we say? We wouldn't be where we are today without their love and support. Each one has been there for both of us and are so very supportive of our decision to adopt. We love them unconditionally.

Ann Marie's Family

Last but not least, are our friends. We are privileged to have so many loving and caring friends that are excited to share their experiences of parenthood with Jason and I. We can not wait to be able to contribute our own source of pride into these experiences.

We know that you came to this decision out of love and the desire to do what's best for both you and the baby. Please know, we will do all we can to continue that love and provide a happy life filled with security and support of a large and loving family. We promise that raising our child and building a good family will be our first priority. Your child will know what a precious gift they are and how they became a part of our family through your unconditional love and sacrifice.
