We would like to thank you for taking time to read our profile and begin to get to know our family. We hope that we can show you, through our profile, how much love we have to offer your child. We can only imagine how difficult a decision this must be for you but be assured that we would welcome your child into our family with a lot of love and happiness.

We would love to be parents to another child.

We've been together and happily married for over 11 years. We met on a blind date through a family member and were married two years later. We both wanted to start a family and were truly blessed with the birth of our beautiful daughter, Ashley Rose who is nine years old. Although we are very happy with the family we are, we would love to be parents to another child. Ashley is equally as excited as we are to build our family through adoption! We enjoy a comfortable lifestyle in a beautiful suburb in New Jersey. We live in a great neighborhood where everyone is close and there are always kids of all ages to play with. We spend a lot of time with our neighbors, who are our good friends, and they are all so excited about having a new addition to our block. We have a top-rated school system, wonderful church and feel fortunate to be a part of this community and enjoy raising our family here.

Ed by Susan

Ed and his two sisters are adopted. He often shares stories about the wonderful life he had growing up with lots of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Ed is so devoted to his parents which is one of the things I love about him the most. He is also a wonderful parent himself; always ready to play and have fun with Ashley and her friends or help with homework – especially math – which is his specialty.

Ed is the kind of guy everyone loves to be around — children included. He has an incredible personality and great sense of humor. He is a wonderful father and husband and has such a positive outlook on life. He is always there to lift people's spirits and make the best of a bad situation. He loves tradition and looks forward to sharing and creating more family memories with a new baby.

Ed is a financial analyst and opened his own investment firm with a partner three years ago. His office is only 15 minutes away from our home which allows him a lot of flexibility to be able to attend all of Ashley’s school events like concerts, plays and conferences. Ed was also the first parent to star in our school’s annual talent show — of course with Ashley —singing and dancing to New York, New York. As an adopted child himself, Ed understands what a child could potentially go through with questions and feelings regarding adoption and could make your child feel loved and secure for their entire life because of his own experience.

Susan - by Ed

Susan is a devoted and loving mother and wife and is dedicated to making our lives happy. She has a great sense of humor and is a lot of fun to be around. She keeps a beautiful home for us and enjoys making holidays, birthdays and other occasions special for us as well as our friends and family. She is eager to welcome a new baby into our happy home and will devote herself to making this child feel loved and always happy.

Susan works part-time in a law office four days a week while Ashley is in school. This schedule allows her to be home when Ashley returns from school so she can be involved in her daily life and activities. Like she did when Ashley was born, Susan intends to be a stay-at-home mom until kindergarten. She cherished the time she was at home full-time and cannot wait to do it again!

Susan has been Ashley’s Girl Scout leader since kindergarten and is a religious education teacher at our local church. Our family is Susan’s world but she has a lot more room in her heart to love another child. Susan is very close to her parents and they are a big part of our lives. We enjoy a lot of Sunday dinners and special occasions with both of our families which is very important to us. Our families are so excited and supportive of our decision to adopt and would welcome your child with open arms and lots of love.

Ashley

Ashley is so excited at the prospect of having a brother or sister to share her life with. She is a sweet and kind child and is a wonderful daughter and friend.

Ashley is a Junior Girl Scout, cheerleader, takes voice lessons and ice skating. She loves playing with children of all ages and is very sweet and gentle with babies and younger children.

She has waited a long time for a sibling and we can assure you that she would be the best big sister in the world.

Family Time

As a small family, we spend a lot of time together. We love to go to the movies, play board games, go out to eat, go to the beach, boardwalks and carnivals (Ashley and Ed love rides). We basically do everything together and rarely go out without Ashley. We like to visit the grandparents on a regular basis and have parties with our friends and their kids, especially during the summer when the weather is nice. We also have a mini daschund name Shiloh. He is such a big part of the family – he is great with kids and brings a lot of joy to our lives.
