Thank
you for considering us as adoptive parents. We adopted our daughter, Judy Virginia,
through an open adoption and have had such a positive experience that we are ready
to do it again! We both come from large loving families and cherish the memories
of growing up with brothers and sisters. We want Judy and any additional children
who become a part of our family to share that same type of joy. We have a lot
of love to give and are confident that we can provide a great home and family
life for your child. |
 about
chris Chris comes from a very close family and is one of five
kids. Her parents were very loving and supportive and always stressed the importance
of spending time together as a family. As a result, Chris and her sister, Jeanne,
and brothers Bill (Chris’ twin), Tom and Jim have always been inseparable. They
genuinely enjoy being together and are the best of friends.
As kids, family
time often included games of touch football, wiffle ball, or playing Marco Polo
in the pool. As adults, these games continue – but with lots of little ones added
to the teams! As the family continues to grow, their love, laughter and shared
good times keep multiplying. They make every occasion together a special one –
and typically have a funny story to tell afterwards.
Chris is a very loving
and genuine person whose bright spirit shines through in her eyes. Her smile warms
everyone’s heart and she is a friend to all. Chris is a wonderful mother whose
love and devotion to Judy can be seen in everything she does from daily wagon
rides to bedtime stories. Chris and Judy share a special bond born of pure love;
a love that Chris will undoubtedly shower on all of our children. |

about deb Deb is also from
a close-knit family and is one of three children. Deb and her sister, Donna, and
brother, Lenny, have enjoyed many happy times and memories. Over the years they
have created family traditions that they all hold dear to their hearts, including
family camping/rafting trips, weekend trips to their second home in the Poconos,
and backyard BBQ’s. Holidays and birthdays were always celebrated in grand style,
with lots of food and fun. All of these practices continue today, and as the family
expands so does the merriment!
Deb is also an extremely genuine and compassionate
person as well as a gentle and loving mother. She lets Judy know that she is the
center of our universe and she will undoubtedly shower any additional children
who are welcomed into our family with the same kind of love and tenderness. |

about judy virginia Judy Virginia
was adopted at birth in an open adoption. We have an excellent relationship with
her birth mother, to whom we are so incredibly grateful. We see her birth mom
a couple of times a year and send cards and pictures frequently. We view her as
part of our extended family and look forward to her continuing to be an important
part of our lives.
Judy loves being with other children. She is very social
and an excellent sharer! She is extremely loving and has a generous heart, and
we know that she will make a wonderful big sister. |

feel so blessed to have her. She was named in honor of both of our moms, who sadly
passed away before she was born. They were wonderful mothers and loving grandmothers,
and we feel honored to have the opportunity to pass on many of their loving practices
and traditions. |

June 16, 2007. She is a bright energetic child with a wonderful smile and great
personality. We are thrilled with her! |

Home our values & home We
were both raised with a strong sense of family and togetherness and we appreciate
how important a good home life is. Our families have always been a source of strength
for us and continue to provide us with love and support. Through our families
we learned the importance of faith and prayer, the rewards of unconditional love,
the importance of integrity, and the warmth of compassion. These are a few of
the core values that we wish to teach our children.
We live on Long Island,
in Chris’ childhood home with her father, Bill. He is a wonderful grandfather
who loves spending time with his 10 grandchildren. He often accompanies the kids
to after-school activities (i.e. soccer, gymnastics, swimming lessons, etc.) and
loves to laugh and play games with them. Since we live with him, he has an especially
close bond with Judy. They adore each other, and we know that he can’t wait to
have another grandchild in the house to dote on!
Our neighborhood is quiet
and family-oriented, with many children nearby. The school system is excellent,
and there are many great parks and beaches within a very short distance. Our home
is spacious with plenty of room for children to run, play and grow. We have several
extra bedrooms that can easily be converted into a nursery, and a large playroom
already filled with lots of baby toys! Our home is already baby-proofed, with
lots of safety gates throughout. We have a large backyard with beautiful gardens,
a fenced-in pool, and ample space for outdoor toys. Our front yard is also very
big, and often the site of family soccer and wiffle ball games. |

Jim and girlfriend Jen our work
& interests We are both licensed massage therapists and
run our own massage therapy practice on Long Island. We work with individuals
and companies to provide stress/pain relief and enhance well-being. Our company
is lovingly dedicated to the memory of Chris’s brother, Jim, who died in the World
Trade Center attack on September 11th. It is our hope that through our work we
are able to bring the peace, comfort and joy that Jim brought to so many people
during his lifetime.
In addition, Deb is currently going to nursing school
to become an R.N. Because we are self-employed, we have a lot of flexibility in
our work hours. We are able to coordinate our work/school schedule so that one
of us is always home to care for our child. We are both very family-oriented,
and love spending time with our extended families. Together, we have 13 nieces
and nephews so our children will have many cousins to play with! In addition,
both of our fathers are great with kids and love to babysit! |
