| Hello! We are David, Becky,
Stuart, Evan and Ellie. We have struggled to find the right words to explain
why we want to expand our family. Our answer is simple—love. Dave and
I love being parents. We love hearing the music of children’s laughter or
their babbling conversation. We love inspiring children to learn and try more,
but we also love watching the excitement as kids learn. We believe having
children has inspired us to be better people and encouraged us to be our best.
Our family can think of nothing better than to be surrounded by kids and their
energy. |

| Becky &
Dave We were fortunate to grow up in homes that were filled with activity,
love, laughter and family. We have the same wish for our children and home. For
generations in upstate New York, our families have farmed and raised their families.
As we work to build our own family, we plan to continue this tradition. We
live simple lives by the rhythms of the seasons. Our hobbies reflect the country
atmosphere in which we live. Dave is able to relax building furniture and
custom woodwork for the house in his woodshop. He loves to build wooden
toys for our children to play with. Becky enjoys sewing and cooking. During
the summer, Becky cans and freezes the vegetables and fruits we will eat in the
winter. Over the last eighteen years together we have greatly enjoyed the outdoors.
We like to camp, hike, skate, ski, canoe, snowshoe and bike. We both enjoy working
in the flower gardens around our home. |

is another of our hobbies. We have been to New Zealand, England, Kazakhstan, Nicaragua,
and have visited many parts of the United States. Much of our travel is linked
to visiting family and friends, as well as exploring new sights. We have gone
to England to visit Becky's sister and her family. Visiting friends in Poland,
Czech, Germany, Nicaragua and Wales has filled some of our winter vacations. |

Stuart, Evan and Ellie have similar stories though their lives started literally
half a world away from each other. Evan and Ellie were international adoptions
from the same city and orphanage in Kazakhstan. The process of adoption has not
been an easy road for us. Still, our journey to create our family is a series
of love stories. Our love stories are not unlike any other in the world as
they were “made of deep devotion, sacrifice and pain. Evan, Ellie
and Stuart were born to amazing women who wanted more for them…more than
they could give. Still, they gave so much…so much more than they will ever
know. Dave and I are grateful for their courage and strength. We celebrate everyday
the blessings they gave us. We know your decision is difficult and painful.
Still, you have to know Dave and I will love your child unconditionally and
encourage the child to be his or her very best. We will provide the children with
as many pportunities and experiences as possible to help them grow as they will
for us. Our family has come to be through
adoption. |

Dream In a heartbeat, Stuart changed our world to the better. We went from
being a couple to being a family. Stuart has shown us a world we could only
dream existed. Stuart right from the beginning has gone everywhere with us. When
Evan joined us eight months later, he doubled the richness of our lives.Twelve
months after Evan came into our hearts and home, Ellie joined us. She has continued
to fill our home with laughter and possibilities as she works determinedly
to catch up with her brothers. Since the beginning of our time together,
the kids have gone everywhere with us. The kids love stroller and backpack rides
through the fields and woods that surround our farm. We both read and talk to
them all the time. We encourage the kids to explore and figure out how things
work. We play out on the patio together. Splashing in a birdbath set up special
for them or building towers with the blocks in the swimming pool are some of their
favorite activities. The kitchen is the center of our world and family. It is
where Stuart, Evan and Ellie love to eat homemade graham crackers and where we
dance after their evening baths. The kids go everywhere

Farm
& Home Our home is on an island filled with gardens, fields and
woods. There is a large screened in porch where everyone gathers for meals during
most of the summer and a large finished basement. It is easy to enjoy a quiet
life here, but there is always someone nearby to come and play. The cities, within
driving distance of our home, allow for the enjoyment of plays, concerts,
orchestra, semi-professional sporting events and art museums. |

farm with his brother, Jim. Their family has farmed in the valley for nine generations.
They grow pproximately 200 acres of vegetables for retail sales and 1300 acres
of grain corn. The kids eagerly watch for Dave as they play outside in case he
passes in his truck or tractor. Our road stand sells a variety of vegetables like
sweet corn, squash, pumpkins and potatoes just to name a few. Becky is a science
teacher at the local high school. She is presently working as a stay-at-home mom,
her favorite job of all! |

Lots
of Family We are close and well supported by our families and our family
of friends. We gather as often as possible to celebrate holidays, birthdays, homecomings
and any other just because reason we can think of. Our family includes
Dave, Becky, Evan, Stuart and Ellie plus pets Harry, Freddie and Lucy. Harry,
our chocolate lab, has made it his job to help watch over the kids. Freddie and
Kitty are the family cats. They tolerate the family living in “their”
house. Dave is one of ten children. All of his brothers and their respective families
live nearby. Becky has two sisters. Our combined seven sisters offer wonderful
travel destinations as they live scattered across the USA and the world. |
